I prefer to think of myself as a problem-solver instead of just a wearer of one of the professional hats I don while at work. It’s true, I’m a web developer, an email marketer, an SEO technician, a landing page tester (certified even). None of these various roles that I play actually matter much unless I’m delivering a solution and solving a business challenge for the customer. At the end of the day, this is what we’re hired to achieve.
Success should be measured by how the project impacted the client’s business. There is nothing more affirming to me than hearing from a client how much better X, Y or Z is now that the new site or module is live.
